Having a good time for a good cause is always well worth the effort. On December 15, The Toy Soldier Run 2012 will be held at Ginnie Springs in High Springs, Florida. You are guaranteed to have a good time, with good friends, both new and old. There will be plenty of food, quality live music and a variety of vendors selling desirable merchandise for the cause.

After enduring the long hot months of summer, it is finally time to take out on your bike and hit the Florida highways. Now that the weather has finally cooled off, the streets are beginning to fill up with many of the beautiful two and three wheeled machines only seen in the Sunshine State. Polish up your chrome, load up the tank and show off your wheels at this year’s Toy Soldier Run event.

The Event

The motorcycle lovers all across Florida have always been there to support the local community in any way we can while still having fun on an off our machines. The Toy Soldier Run is sure to be a memorable event that will include fun in the Florida winter sun. From noon until midnight on December 15, 2012, there will be amazing food, merchandise, and music, with the proceeds going to a good cause. The bands will start playing at noon with gates opening three hours earlier, at 9 AM. With everyone welcome, the good times will go on until midnight.

The Proceeds

As usual, The Toy Soldier Run will be donating its proceeds to benefit a great cause, Herry’s Kids Pediatric Program of Hospice of the Nature Coast. As part of the grand tradition, toys are always collected at the event, with entry fees doubled for every registered rider that shows up without a much-needed toy. All toys are to be donated to the area children through your generosity and the efforts of The Christian Motorcycle Association.

The Charity

The Hospice of Nature Coast offers the community the loving care required during the last days of an individual’s life. They provide supportive care for many of the community’s loved ones, in their time of great need. The Toy Soldier Run is proud to donate their proceedings this year to such a worthy cause.

With the proceeds going to charity, and a good time waiting to be had, it is time to come down to Ginnie Springs, for an enjoyable day.
